ClearCert was founded in response to the 2006 update of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ Long Term Care Insurance Model Act. For the first time this Act introduced mandatory training for long-term care producers, which when implemented by any state would also meet the requirement for training stipulated by the Deficit Reduction Act signed into law earlier that same year.<\/p>\n

Beginning in 2020, states started implementing the Best Interest update to the 2010 Suitability in Annuities Regulation. All producers \u2013 even those who previously took Annuity Suitability training \u2013 must now take additional training. ClearCert\u2019s system is already seamlessly administering this new requirement.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2004 states began implementing training requirements for producers represent National Flood Insurance, which carriers must certify in most states.<\/p>\n
